Clarksville Gas and Water will close a section of Greenwood Avenue to through traffic at 3:30 p.m. from Madison Street to Tyler Street for sewer line repair.
Greenwood Avenue will be inaccessible from Madison Street and northbound traffic on Greenwood Avenue will be redirected to Tyler Street during the work.
Motorists are advised to choose an alternate route to avoid the utility work zone.
The sewer line repair is anticipated to be finished and the road fully reopened to traffic by midnight.
