Clarksville Gas and Water has turned off water service on Franklin Street from Cedar Street to Hornberger Lane for fire hydrant replacement. Low water pressure may also affect the area.
Franklin Street is also closed from Cedar Street and Hornberger Lane. Motorists are advised to choose an alternate route or use Cedar Street or Hornberger Lane during the work.
The fire hydrant replacement is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 5 p.m.
