CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – In celebration of Independence Day, Clarksville Transit System is offering free rides all day on Wednesday, July 3.
CTS wants to provide passengers an opportunity to get their Independence Day shopping done and enjoy a free ride on the City of Clarksville.
Citizens are invited to become City explorers on routes that provide safe daily transportation to many parks, pools, and recreation centers operated by the Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department. The bus routes also offer access to the public library, the Roxy Theatre, the Customs House Museum, historical sites and special events.
CTS’s standard routes operate from 4:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday to Saturday; the downtown Transit Center is open Monday-Friday 5:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Route information is available online at https://www.cityofclarksville.com/344/Routes.
Clarksville Transit System will be closed July 4, 2019 in celebration of Independence Day. No regular bus service will run on Independence Day, Thursday, July 4. Normal route service will resume Friday, July 5.
