Clarksville Gas and Water has scheduled a water outage on Monday, July 1, at 8 a.m. on a section of Tobacco Road from Tiny Town Road to Hadley Road and on Hadley Road for fire hydrant replacement. Low water pressure may also affect area residents during the work.
The southbound lane of Tobacco Road will be closed from Tiny Town Road to Hadley Road including the entrance lanes from Tiny Town Road. Through traffic will be detoured to Outlaw Field Road and Jack Miller Boulevard to access Tobacco Road. Northbound traffic will not be affected; however, motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment when approaching the work zone.
The fire hydrant replacement is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 1 p.m.
