UPDATE 3: Clarksville Gas & Water has also closed a section of Old Ashland City Road in both directions from Ashland City Road/Highway 41-A Bypass to Lacy Lane for the water main leak repair work underway on Ashland City Road. Motorists are advised to choose an alternate travel route to avoid the area during the work. Utility crews anticipate the repair work to be finished, water service restored and the road reopened to traffic by approximately 7 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12.

UPDATE 2:

The Old Ashland City Road water outage and lane closure for water main leak repair has been extended overnight to Thursday, Jan. 12 at 7:00 a.m.

UPDATE:

Due to the water main leak repair work on Old Ashland City Road, water service has also been turned off on Ashland City Road from Branch Road to Old Ashland City Road and on Branch Road.

The eastbound lane on Ashland City Road will be closed from Branch Road to Old Ashland City Road. Traffic will be shifted to the center turning lane to bypass the work zone. Motorists are asked to slow down when approaching the work zone and be alert to utility workers and their equipment.

The water main leak repair work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored, and the lane reopened by approximately 7 p.m.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas & Water has turned off water service on Old Ashland City Road from Ashland City Road to the end of Old Ashland City Road for water main leak repair. 

Low water pressure may also affect the vicinity during the work.

The water main leak repair is anticipated to be finished and water service restored by approximately 3 p.m.
