CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Prepare yourself for haunting historical tales of woe and terror! Fort Defiance will be hosting its annual Halloween at the Fort from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29. The event is open to all ages but recommended for ages 8 and over due to the content of the stories being told.
Visitors will enjoy hot dogs and hot chocolate while gathered around the bonfire listening to local ghost stories that are sure to send a shiver down their spine.
“Clarksville and the surrounding areas have a rich history involving Native Americans, the Civil War, and more,” said Fort Defiance Historical Interpreter William Parker. “That history allows for some great educational stories that can also get a little spooky.”
This event is free and open to the public with no registration required. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets for seating.
