CLARKSVILLE, Tennessee – The City of Clarksville Parks & Recreation Department hosted Clarksville’s fifth annual Clarksville Barbeque Bash on Saturday, Oct. 9 at the Wilma Rudolph Event Center. The Barbecue Bash featured a barbecue competition, people’s choice tasting, cornhole tournament, artisan vendors and kids activities.
BARBEQUE COMPETITION
Twenty-four professional and backyard cooks met to compete for ultimate grill master bragging rights and a chance to win $5,000 in cash prizes. Each team was evaluated in their respective meat categories of pork, chicken, and ribs based on taste, appearance, and texture.

The Barbecue Bash also included a cornhole tournament. Fourteen teams played for trophies and cash prizes with the following three teams coming out on top:
