This week’s #WorkingWednesday features Michaela Davis, Lead Customer Service Representative, at Clarksville Gas & Water.
Michaela began her career with Gas & Water in 2002 as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) in the South Service Center handling customer payments and account transactions. Michaela quickly learned all aspects of customer service including establishing new construction accounts and issuing permits and was promoted to Lead Customer Service Representative in 2012.
In addition to regular duties, Michaela assists CSR’s when needed with customer account issues and trains new employees. Michaela is one of the most knowledgeable team members in the Customer Service Department who routinely commits 110% when serving customer needs.
Away from work, Michaela enjoys spending time with her husband of twelve years, Jason, and their four-legged family members; Dixie, Bear, Daisy, Remington, Missy and a whole herd of cattle. Michaela and Jason also enjoy competition barbequing and are called Smokin’ in the Country and took Grand Champion honors at the Tennessee Soybean Festival, this past Labor Day weekend. They also placed in several categories; 1st place in backyard bird and fine swine, 2nd place in shoulder and 4th place in ribs.
A full-time job and competition barbequing are enough to keep anyone busy, but Michaela is also over 1,600 miles into a walking and running challenge called Run the Year 2021. The goal is to walk or run 2,021 miles by the end of the calendar year and is on track to surpass her goal. In her spare time, she also helps out at Kelly’s Big Burger, her mother’s restaurant.
Thank you, Michaela, for all that you do as an exemplary employee, leader, and all-around wonderful person at Clarksville Gas & Water. We are proud to have you as part of our City family!
