UPDATE: The sewer line work on Cumberland Drive has been finished ahead of schedule and the road has been reopened to traffic.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas & Water has closed a section of Cumberland Drive from Swift Drive to Beverly Hills Drive for sewer line work.
Traffic will be detoured to Hickory Grove Boulevard and Eastland Drive to bypass the work zone; however motorists are advised to choose an alternate travel route to avoid traffic congestion at the work site.
The sewer main work is anticipated to be finished and the road reopened by approximately 3 p.m.
