CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. –  The Clarksville Transit System is reaching out to the citizens of Clarksville to determine the need and interest for a downtown circulator shuttle.

The intent of the survey it to help CTS better understand how a new type of service might accommodate the needs of the community. Citizen input will help them design the best service to meet citizen needs.

This potential shuttle service would provide access to the downtown area with quick turnaround times to ensure short waiting periods between shuttles.

The new service would make it easy and convenient to get around downtown for residents, local business employees and visitors.

The mission of CTS is to plan, implement, maintain and manage a public transportation system that allows for maximum mobility for the community with an emphasis on safety, quality and efficiency.

Buses leave the Transit Center, 200 Legion Street, and travel to the outer reaches of the city. The buses then return to the Transit Center, enabling passengers to transfer from one route to another route to reach their final destination.

To take the survey, please go to http://bit.ly/2UoMC8I. All responses will be kept confidential.
