UPDATE: The Ashland City Road water main repair site work has been finished well ahead of schedule and the lane has been reopened and returned to normal traffic flow.
--
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas & Water has closed 200 feet of the westbound lane on Ashland City Road (Highway 41-a Bypass) and will shift it to the center turning lane near the Seven Mile Ferry Road intersection to allow for site repair at the point of last week’s sixteen-inch water main leak.
Motorists are advised to slow down and be alert to utility workers and their equipment when approaching the work zone or choose an alternate travel route to avoid traffic congestion.
Utility crews will work at the site most of the day or until approximately 3:30 p.m. when the lane will be reopened and the lane returned to normal traffic flow.
