UPDATE: The Rossview Road water main work and water outage scheduled for 10 p.m. tonight has been cancelled due to the forecast of inclement weather. The work will be rescheduled and a new date announced when one has been determined.

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – Clarksville Gas & Water has planned a water outage on Wednesday, April 28, at 10 p.m., weather permitting, on Rossview Road near the Wilma Rudolph Boulevard intersection for water main maintenance and water valve replacement.

The work will be done overnight and the water outage will also affect a section of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard at the West Rossview Road intersection, Fairview Lane from Wilma Rudolph Boulevard to West Rossview Road and West Rossview Road.

Approximately 300 feet of the outer eastbound lane of Wilma Rudolph Boulevard near the intersection of Rossview Road will also be closed to traffic during the work. Motorists are asked to slow down and be alert to utility workers and equipment when approaching the work zone.

The water main and valve work is anticipated to be finished, water service restored and the lane reopened by 4 a.m. on Thursday.
