City Pools officially close on Sunday August 3rd for the 2008 season!

Pool Hours
10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. 1:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday.

DAILY ADMISSION

Admission charge is $5 per person per day. Starting at 3:00 p.m. each day, pool admission will be $3 per person.

WATER SLIDE ADMISSION

Swan Lake and Bel-Aire Swimming Pools each have a 100-foot waterslide. Daily admission is $2 per person and is not included with a pool pass. Water slide passes are available at the Recreation Office or at either pool for $20 per person for the summer.


POOL RULES ' REGULATIONS
ALL PERSONS MUST ABIDE BY INSTRUCTIONS OF THE GUARDS.
1. No person shall be permitted on the pool deck wearing street shoes.
2. No person shall be permitted to change clothes in the pool area.
3. Swimsuits are required in fenced area by all patrons. Everyone pays admission.
4. Infants/toddlers are required to wear elasticized rubber pants or swim diapers.
5. No person shall be permitted in the pool with bandages, open sores, or wounds.
6. Smoking, eating, drinking shall be permitted only in designated areas.
7. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES shall be permitted under any circumstances.
8. No running, pushing, dunking, or horseplay such as spitting water or splashing shall be allowed.
9. No person shall spit on deck, sit on ropes, or use profane language.
10. Equipment such as automobile inner tubes, large floats, rubber plastic ball, which may be a hazard to bathers shall be restricted from the pool. Small play tubes may be used when they do not interfere with other bathers.
11. Talking to guards while they are on duty shall not be allowed.
12. Neither the pool personnel nor the Recreation Department shall be responsible for lost or stolen articles.
13. If you leave the pool and you do not hold a pool pass, you will have to pay admission to re-enter the pool.
14. Rain checks may be given to patrons in the pool for 1 hour or less time due to inclement weather.
15. Only children 10 and older, who can swim, may be left at the pools without an adult. All children 9 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
16. Any bags carried into the pool area are subject to search.
17. No outside food or drink allowed.

DIVING BOARD RULES
One Bounce
No float devices or goggles
No ‘all Americans’, ‘spank the babies’, or ‘gangers’
Use ladders to exit the water
No backward dives of any sort

WATER SLIDE RULES
No head first
One person at a time on the slide
No catching child at bottom of slide
No float devices or goggles
Must be able to swim or stand in 3ft. water

 
Pool Passes
Pool passes will be sold at the Parks and Recreation office Monday - Friday 8 am to 4:30 pm . Passes are valid at all pools.  You must have your pool pass ID for entry.  Id cards are included in the cost of the pool pass however, replacement ID’s will cost $5 per passholder when issued.
 

New 2008 Season Pool Pass Pricing
Pool passes are priced based on the number of people you have on your pass. You are no longer required to show proof of relation or birth certificates to include additional passholders on the same pass. A non-resident fee of 10% will be added to the season passes for those living outside the Clarksville city limits. Utility bills must be provided as proof of residence. Non-residents cannot be added to a city resident’s pool pass.

If you have more than 6 people, you must purchase an additional pass.

Daily Admission: $5 per person before 3 pm; $3 per person after 3 pm.

Water Slide Admission: $2 per person daily or purchase a season pass for $20. Swan Lake and Bel-Aire Pools only

SWIM LESSONS
Swim lessons will be offered at Bel-Aire, Beachaven, New Providence, Smith, and Swan Lake Pools.

Swim Lessons Schedule

Cost $15 with the purchase of a pool pass. Semi private classes are $25.00 with a purchase of a pool pass.  Parents must remain outside the fenced in pool area during classes.
** If classes become full we will maintain a waiting list.**

Swim Lessons at Beachaven, Bel-Aire, New Providence, and Swan Lake Pools
All lessons Monday-Thursday 9:00 am 6:00 pm
Session 2, July 7-18 Levels 2-5 Levels 1-4

Classes with fewer than 3 participants will be merged with another class or cancelled.
