Book Signing with Carolyn Stier Ferrell, February 18, 10 am to 3 pm ath the Fort Defiance Interpretive Center

Carolyn Stier Ferrell is a retired high school biology/history teacher. She was recognized as a Distinguished Educator, the 2006 Rossview High School Teacher of the Year and a finalist in the county. Ms. Ferrell was inducted into Phi Alpha Theta National Historical Honor Society. She is a fourth generation resident of Clarksville.

Her previous publications include "In Search of Nannie Tyler: A One hundred Year History of a Family Who Helped Shape Clarksville," and "Stories From the Queen City of the Cumberland."
