Name that fish!

This year’s Riverfest Celebration is right around the corner on
September 11 and 12. Preparations for this year’s festivities have already begun.

In 2008, the City of Clarksville chose a new mascot for the
Riverfest Celebration. Local artist and Riverfest enthusiast Debra Sutton created the fun new fish character who will serve as the face of Riverfest again this year and for years to come. Now, we need your help in naming the Riverfest fish.

We are inviting the public to help us choose a name for the festive fish. If you have a suggestion, we would like to hear it. If your name is chosen, you will receive an exclusive 2009 Riverfest V.I.P. Package. There are a few simple guidelines to follow, and we look forward to your entry. Please limit one entry per person. Deadline August 3rd.

Contest Guidelines:
1. Limit one entry per person
2. Inappropriate names will be not be considered.
3. In the event that the same name is submitted by two different persons, the first entry received will qualify.
