CPD offers traffic awareness classes for teens
Students invited to register for responsible driving training
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. – The Clarksville Police Department is offering two sessions of a free four-hour Student Traffic Awareness class for teens ages 15 to 19.
Classes will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Aug. 25 and Oct. 20 at Grace Nazarene Church, 3135 Trenton Road.
This responsible driving class will cover Tennessee traffic laws; distracted driving; speed awareness; occupant protection; alcohol and DUI awareness; and pedestrian and bicycle safety.
Applications are available at Clarksville Police headquarters, 135 Commerce St., Clarksville, and each class is limited to 75 students.
