Living Legacy tree Program

The Gift of a Tree…A LIVING LEGACY

Planting a tree is a meaningful way to remember and celebrate the lives of the people we love.  It's a living legacy for future generations, and one that beautifies our city and helps the environment. When a cumulative donation of $250 is made to the program, a tree will be planted in honor of your loved one, and will be marked with a special marker identifying the recipient of the gift, the type of tree, and the date planted.  Each tree is guaranteed for ten years, and the cost includes continued maintenance (fertilizing, pruning, mulching, etc.)  A card will be mailed to the recipient of your gift at the time of your donation.

After the planting, the donor of the gift will receive a certificate and map of the location of each tree.  Planting takes place in March and November, but trees may be ordered at any time.

The Clarksville Memorial Tree program is sponsored by the Clarksville Tree Board and the Clarksville Forester.  For more information, call 645-7464.
