Attention City Property Owners For the Tax Year 2009
The property taxes for the Tax Year 2009 will become delinquent on March 2, 2010. All 2009 property taxes paid on or after March 2, 2010 must include interest and penalty due at a rate of 1.5% per month for any part of a month on or after the delinquent date. Because February 28, 2010 is on a Sunday, your 2009 property taxes may be paid through March 1st, 2010 without interest and penalty between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, at the Department of Finance and Revenue, 1 Public Square or by mailing the 2009 tax payments directly to the Department of Finance and Revenue, P. O. Box 928, Clarksville, TN 37041-0928.
