Most traffic violations can be paid before the court date and will result in a total cost of $135.75. This price includes fines and court costs as well as local and state litigation taxes

Seat Belt violations will result in a total cost of $10.00 for the first violation and $20.00 for the second violation

Child Restraint violations will result in a total cost of $50.00

Unless prior arrangements are made with the City Court Clerk's Office, citations that are paid late will incur additional costs.

You may qualify to attend the Traffic Safety Course offered by the City Court; This would result in some monetary savings as well as keeping points from being assigned to your driver's license.

Failure to pay or appear in court as scheduled will result in a default judgment being issued against the violator, higher court costs and additional state penalties to include , but not limited to suspension of your driver's license.
